THE BOYS

THESE BOYS KEEP ME BUSY...

Every year the kindergarten class has to create a container to protect a raw egg while it is dropped from the roof of the school. This year Jackson had to decorate it using the theme of sea animals. He was very proud of his egg container and even more proud when the egg survived!!!!

Race to Read

This year (again, 4th year in a row) Ben read enough hours to earn us free tickets to Bandimere Speedway. We had so much fun watching the race cars, the Jelly Belly fire truck and most of all the jet engine cars. The jet engine cars were by far our favorite. Watching the cars go over 200mph and feeling the boom shake your entire body is unforgettable. Thanks Ben for a fun night!!!

Updates

I know I'm about a month behind on updating my blog but here we go...

We are finally in our new house and love it!!! There are still boxes unpacked and we received our first notice from the HOA about our yard (give us a break we just moved in and the house was empty for 1 yr before us). But its ours and we love it. I can't wait to have a party and show it off!!!

Last week we made a little road trip to see my sister... It's always fun spending time with Aunt Star

Love

I can't express enough how much I love my boys!!!

Snow Day 2009

Yesterday was our first actual "snow day" from school. Once I explained what a "snow day" was the boys were very excited. We spent the day watching movies, making cookies, and playing in the snow.

New House

We have experienced a major change of plans. We were very anxious for the building of our new house and went out to visit the site frequently. One day during my visit to the site I stumbled upon a house that was already built and on the market. Upon further investigation, with the assistance of our realtor, we found a house that we instantly fell in love with. Its bigger, better and best of all cheaper. When you look at the pictures you will see why we made the choice we made. Right now we are scheduled to close the end of this month... so keep your fingers crossed and we will keep you updated!!!

SNOW!!!

As much as I hate the cold... I sure love playing in the snow with my family. One weekend we decided to drive up to the mountains with the other Mulberry family. There was a lot of snow but we also discovered they (the forest rangers) have closed an amazing sledding hill. We still had fun playing in the snow while we waited for Pat and Matt to climb the hill and then snowboard down.

The boys love when Uncle Danny comes over to play in the snow

I think we have a snowboarder on our hands...what do you think???

Exciting news!!!

For those of you who haven't heard... we are getting a HOUSE!!! We are so excited. We are building a house in the Green Valley Ranch area, which is on the east side of Denver. We tried to stay on the west side of town but it was hard. The house will be beautiful, in nice new development, and for a great price.
Here is the site of our future home
Here are the pictures I promised

Christmas

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love the holiday season. This year all my siblings and their families came home for Christmas. We had a lot of fun playing with the cousins, gossiping with my sisters and shopping with my brothers. There was a lot of good food and a lot of presents. You can't go wrong with that combination!!!

One of the best parts of winter is sledding with my boys. Its hilarous to watch Jackson take a running start or to watch Ben using his sled as a snowboard.

The photo uploader is not working so stay tuned for pictures of our amazing Christmas vacation
